Terms of Service

1. Website use

This website provides general information about George Building Materials, its product categories, project solutions and services. You may use it for lawful business and personal research. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful material or use its content in a way that infringes the rights of George or others.

2. Information is not an offer

Website descriptions, images, specifications, availability and examples are for general information. They may change and may not reflect the final scope of a particular project. Sending an enquiry does not create an order, reservation or supply commitment. Product suitability, specifications, pricing, lead times, delivery terms and responsibilities must be confirmed for each project.

3. Quotations and project agreements

Any quotation, purchase order, contract, approved drawing, specification or other written project document agreed with George governs the relevant transaction. If those documents conflict with general information on this website, the agreed project documents control. Nothing on this website replaces technical review, required approvals or professional advice for your project.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website's text, design, images, graphics and branding belong to George or their respective rights holders. You may view and share links to the website for ordinary reference. You may not copy, republish, modify or use its content commercially without permission, except where applicable law allows it.

5. Materials you send us

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any drawings, images, specifications or other materials you send to George. You permit us to use those materials as reasonably needed to review your enquiry and, if a project proceeds, to perform the agreed work. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. External links

Links to third-party websites may be provided for reference. George does not control their content, availability or practices. A link does not imply that George endorses every claim on the linked site.

7. Website availability and liability

We work to keep website information useful and current, but do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free of errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, George is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content or from interruptions outside our reasonable control. This clause does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, or rights and obligations under an agreed project contract.

8. Changes and applicable terms

We may update this website and these terms. The date above identifies the current website terms. Any governing law or dispute process for a transaction should be set out in the applicable project agreement; otherwise, mandatory applicable law governs. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated website terms where permitted by law.
